Jin drives Ben back and Kate is talking to Roger. Horace told Sawyer that Sayid went north because the keys only had Roger, Willie and Jack. Sawyer asked Roger for the keys, and he found out he wasn't there. Juliet couldn't save Ben. Miles talks to his guards, Hurley, Jack, Kate, and says things won't change in the '70s. After Kate could not persuade Sawyer to ask Jack to help him, she thought Jack had changed and gave his blood to Ben. Roger told her that maybe Ben let Sayid go. Hurley argued with Miles that they lived for 70 years, before it was history, but Hurley said why Ben would forget Sayid altogether later. After getting rid of Roger, Juliet told Kate that maybe the others could save Ben. Kate drove away. Juliet was responsible for delaying Sawyer for a moment and telling the truth. Sawyer went to help, turned on the defense, and went to the jungle to find Richard. Richard promised to save him, but said Ben would be one of them. Richard had no intention of notifying Charles, despite warnings from other members. Then he went into the temple.
Kate: go to Cassidy and take the money and say Sawyer gave it. Cassidy says Sawyer didn't know how to face Kate before he jumped the plane. That night Kate took Aaron back to the dock. She got Jack's phone call at the supermarket, but she didn't answer it. She lost Aaron suddenly. She asked Cassidy, and she said she needed Aaron more. Kate looks for Claire's mother, tells the truth, and asks him to take care of Aaron, while she tries to find Claire and doesn't leave.
