After the door blew open, Desmond, who was inside as normal life, heard and took the gun. Locke tried to get into the tank with no bottom in sight, but Jack said it was daytime. Shannon went to Vincent, and while Sayid was chasing him in the bush, she heard the whispers in the woods and saw Walt "boo" him from a distance. When Sayid came back, Walt was gone. When Sayid returns to base camp, he urges people not to panic by saying what Shannon sees. Charlie says others do not exist. Jack told everyone not to go to the hatch, and to stay put was to keep everyone safe. Locke came back for the rope, said publicly to get in, Kate followed. Kate gets down with the rope. Locke pulls on it first. After all, she suddenly shouted that there was something underneath, and a white light shot out, and Locke shouted that there was no answer. Jack decided to go, too, seeing no one there. After the bottom he found water beside the bedroom. He put his gun on, saw his shoes, scribbled, and sensed the magnetic field. The song Desmond was listening to begins. Jack walks in and sees the computer. Locke says don't touch it. Kate is ok. Jack tells him this is what you call fate? Jack recognizes Desmond.
Jack: in the traffic accident, Sara, who killed the driver of the car before him, was seriously injured. She said that she wanted to dance at the wedding. Jack tried to save her. Sara's fiance, Kevin, wants to abandon her who might not be able to recover. Jack is even more determined to save her. He sprained his foot while running in the audience at the gym. A stranger, Desmond, helped him and said he was preparing for a worldwide run. Jack says Sara failed. Desmond says he believes in miracles. Sara asks Kevin when he's back, and he says he'll be back, but confesses that he can't fix her spine. It's a miracle. She's better.
