It was Desmond, who had been at sea for four and a half weeks, but had come back. Sayid suggested Jack go on with Michael. He took the boat to meet them and found Jin and Sun to go with them. Kate found two men on the way, Sawyer shot one, and the other escaped. Jack forces Michael to tell the truth, but doesn't let Hurley go. Locke was driven out of the cabin by Eko. He found and convinced Desmond when he cried. The next day, he turned off the electricity and locked Eko out of the cabin with him. Eko worried that if he didn't press the button, everyone would die, and he persuaded Charlie to help him in.
Desmond: after serving his sentence, he will become a member of the royal Scottish air force. But outside the prison, Charles Widmore, the father of Penelope, whom he met, learned that all his letters to her had not been delivered into her hands. Charles gave him a lot of money so that he could no longer find Penelope and said his daughter was going to get married. In order to regain his dignity, he decided to take part in the solo round-the-world race and won the race against Charles. Meeting Libby in a fast-food restaurant, he paid for a no-dollar boat he missed because Libby's husband was going to die and sailing to the Mediterranean was a desire. Desmond, who trains daily for running, came to Penelope one day in the playground where he met Jack. She didn't know her father had taken down the letter, but he said he would give him a year. However, during the severe storm, Desmond was washed ashore the next day and brought to the cabin by Kelvin Inman, a researcher in isolation suit. Kelvin said the vaccine had to be given every nine days (though Desmond later told Claire it was useless). He lived in the cabin for three years.
