When Sayid was looking at the pictures from the beach, she saw a long rope leading to the jungle. She fell into the trap and hung upside down until the night. Ethan and Locke go hunting in the evening. Walt wants to go when he sees them. Michael won't allow it. Ethan gives Hurley the bag he found before he leaves. Hurley finds the tools to build a golf course and invites Jack, Michael, Charlie and others to play and find some fun for life. Sayid woke up knowing that she was the one who sent the signal, called Rousseau, and she said the signal was not there, but was controlled by "the others." He was trusted by her. She showed him a box of music from her lover Robert, and Sayid said she could fix it. He identified her last name as Danielle, a former member of the research team, and set up a temporary home for two months after her boat hit the rocks one night. Returning from the black rocks, they hear the whispers of the others, but do not see them. Sayid says she's just too lonely to believe. Sayid fixed the music box, but she wouldn't let him go, saying it wasn't safe outside. There was the sound of beasts, she said, a bear, not a monster. Sayid unties his gun and brings a map drawn by Rousseau, and secretly follows the other guy out with his gun. They point their guns at each other, but Sayid's gun firing pin is removed, which Rousseau says killed Robert. She told of one infection after another, only to kill one by one. She said she couldn't let him go just because she wanted someone to talk to. Sayid's own experience touched her. She let him go, but she did not agree to go with him. Sayid asked Alex to be her child. Boone, Jack, and others also go golfing. Walt goes to the scene, feels ignored, and leaves. But the crowd was having a good time and gradually merged, including Sawyer. Walt found Locke. Sayid heard whispers on her return.
Sayid: he tortures shiah in the republican guard. Omar, the chief, thinks he is good and ready to take him back to the intelligence ministry. He met Nadia (alias Noor Abed Jazeem), who was sent to investigate whether she had anything to do with the shia bombing. Sayid didn't abuse the scarred Nadia and give her food, but she still won't say. Omar asked him to kill Nadia, who had not let go for a month. She left her picture and wrote -- if you can't find me this life, the next life will. When he's found out, Sayid shoots the guy, shoots himself, disguises as Nadia did, and tells her to go.For seven years he had been waiting to hear from her, but he had not heard from her.
