Aaron had a fever and a rash, Rousseau showed up and told her she was infected, Claire was in a panic, Jack didn't think it was a big deal. With Libby's help, Claire retrieves the lost two-hour memory and asks Kate to go with her to the place she was taken. It turned out there was no vaccine for her, but she found that Rousseau was helping her, not bringing her back to them. They made peace, and Rousseau painfully told her that if Aaron did get that disease she should know what to do. When Eko discovers Henry's presence by accident, Jack agrees to let him talk to Henry alone. Eko was sorry for the first night he killed two others and dragged them away for no reason. He cut off his beard and asked Henry to take it back. It also seems to confirm Henry's identity. Henry used the fact that Locke told Jack that he could not leave Dostoevsky's genius to suggest that Locke had been under Jack's thumb, and Locke took his anger out on the cutlery even though he told him they had made a decision together.
Claire: Ethan was always treated well, including a baby room. But Ethan gave her a so-called "vaccine" to her stomach, and Claire decided to let them have it because she wanted to keep her baby for someone else. She seems to have been drugged into a sort of ethereal state, and she was rescued the last night, supposedly by Rousseau's child (who she said they were going to kill her by caesarean section that night). Rousseau was out there trying to save her, but Claire still thought that Ethan and they were the good guys, so they scratched her, but eventually Claire was put back to safety by Rousseau. Claire's memory loss may have something to do with the fact that she was knocked out with a stick by Rousseau when she told Ethan and others she wouldn't leave.
