Desmond retrieves Christian's coffin and tells Kate that the deceased is named Christian Shephard. He told Kate his name and said he wanted to leave. Hurley pulled out a gun outside the hotel, but Sayid was not impressed (S05E01). Hurley went to Charlie alone. He didn't want to go to the concert. Miles saw Sayid on the bus outside his father Pierre Chang's museum benefit concert and called Sawyer to suggest he check out Sun.
Jin told Sun that they would be able to leave soon, so Juliet came in and did a b-mode ultrasound for her, and Sun saw the flash, the scene that Juliet showed her (S03E18). The fetus is healthy, Jin and Sun also saw the island two lives, excited. Juliet asked them if they wanted to know the sex of the child. Sun said it was a girl, Jin said it was Ji Yeon, and both spoke fluent English. Juliet went out to find Jack, who was his wife. David came to get the tickets for the concert and said he could bring Claire. Juliet took David's advanced elevator, and Sawyer just came out.
At night, Sayid was taken outside a bar by Hurley. Hurley said he couldn't break the rules and tell him what to do. Boone was hit and Shannon came out to stop. Sayid goes up to save her, and they both see the flash of life on the island and kiss each other. Boone spoke with Hurley, who said the cost of bringing her out of Australia was well worth it.
Juliet got a call back to the hospital at the concert, and David accompanied Claire. Charlotte wakes Charlie up in the background, and she meets Daniel.
Pierre addresses the concert, Claire and David arrive at table 23 (Jack's nickname on the island happens to be 23) and meet Kate and Desmond. Pierre's speech ended with Charlie and Daniel playing. Charlie and Claire looked at each other, and Claire felt a stomach ache. Eloise is unhappy with Desmond matchmaking band playing with Daniel, Desmond says decided to ignore her. She said if people knew the truth, he said they would leave then.
Claire comes backstage and finds out she's going to have a baby, Kate has to deliver her baby, and Charlie is called in to get towels and hot water.When the two women met, they saw the flash of Kate delivering Claire's baby (S01E20). After Aaron's birth, Charlie's contact with Claire also reappeared their lives on the island. Desmond came in and asked Kate if she understood.
Jack looks at Locke's front neck and bleeds again. Locke woke up and said "It worked," and his feet were moving. At this time he also saw his life on the island. He asks Jack if he can see it, and Jack dimly sees what he and Locke are looking down below (S01E25). Locke asked if he would go with him. Jack said impatiently that he wanted to see his son. Locke said he didn't have a son. Before leaving Locke said he hoped someone would help him do what Jack did to him.
Sawyer went to Sun he Jin, saying he was afraid that Sayid would retaliate against them, but they said not to worry and left. After Sawyer went out, he saw Jack and asked him where he had food. Jack gave him instructions to the vending machine. Sawyer also ordered APOLLO chocolate that Jack had ordered. Juliet showed up and told him to turn off the power and take it out. The two saw flashes on the island, and Juliet said they should get coffee sometime. He said the money was swallowed by a machine, and she said We could go Dutch. They recognized each other and kissed each other.
Jack goes to the concert. Kate tells him it's over. Kate accosted him, and when she touched his face he was puzzled by their island life. Kate suggested that he go with her and she would understand.
Locke went outside. He sat outside. He told him that most people were inside. Ben says he still has something to figure out, don't go in, but tell Locke he can get out of his wheelchair. Locke goes in. Then Hurley came out and said everyone was in, but Ben couldn't get in. Hurley says he's the best No.2, and Ben says Hurley is the best No.1.
Jack and Kate drive to the church, where he holds his father's funeral. She told him to go first, and Jack touched the empty coffin and saw his island life. Christian appears, Jack asks himself if he's dead, Christian acquiesces, but says everything that happens is true.The two reconciled. Christian said that this was the place where they met and could find each other. He also said that the time spent with these people was the best in Jack's life. To remember, and let it go. When Jack said Kate was leaving, Christian said it should be "moving on". When Jack asked where they were going, Christian said everyone should look for it. They went out and found everyone there, everyone shaking hands or hugging him, and every couple was happy together. Kate pulls him down. When Christian leaves, the door is golden.
