Sawyer and others were taken to the cage where he and Kate had been locked up. Charles told us that it was for their good and that black smoke was coming. In the cage, Sawyer tells Kate that her name is crossed out in the cave. Charles is not lying. Jin said he had seen his daughter and Sun had given him the ring. Jack emphasized staying on the island, and John hoped to convince others like Sawyer to believe him. After the bomb exploded the submarine was hit and Frank was knocked down by broken glass. Jack tells Hurley to take Kate up with an oxygen bottle. Sawyer, Jack, Jin tried unsuccessfully to lift the heavy weight that had fallen on Sun. Sawyer was knocked unconscious. Jin asked Jack to save Sawyer first. Desperate to be with Sun, Jin died with Sun. On shore, Jack, who is unconscious, meets with Hurley and Kate. On the dock, John tells Claire that not everyone is dead, and he's ready to do what's left undone.
