Teresa had been in a relationship with Bernard before, but now that he was fired, she looked at his grave expression and followed without much hesitation.The two men came to the hut where ford had settled, but strangely, there was no receptionist. Theresa saw a door in the room and pushed it in. Behind the door was a staircase leading to the basement, which, to all intents and purposes, was producing artificial people. Theresa picked up a stack of artificial human profiles on her desk and looked horrified. On one of the profiles, the artificial receptionist is Bernard. Bernard did not seem to see the information when Theresa handed it to Bernard, and there was no surprise. Ford popped in and told Theresa in a flat tone: "they can't see anything that will hurt them." Theresa was shocked and scared. She knew about ford's secret and plot and knew she couldn't escape tonight. Under ford's instructions, Bernard no longer had feelings for Teresa, but only knew to carry out ford's instructions, namely to kill Theresa. Mei Fu asked ding dong to help him find clay.
