Aki was finally touched by her hand-drawn gratitude, and promised to donate bone marrow to make everyone happy. Jackie didn't dare tell her concerned parents, boyfriends or colleagues about her illness, suffered alone and resigned. Henry eventually learned that Paul had divorced and that Henry and Paul had urged Jackie to give up the idea of resigning. Paul met Annie at the gym with Henry, and Annie mocked Paul for his divorce from Rebecca. Henry accompanied Paul home just as Rebecca brought Martin home to carry things. Paul sees Rebecca's unreasonable behavior and finally realizes that divorce is inevitable.
