Lu Na was scolded by parents for playing with A Meng, naive she did not know the true purpose of A Meng. A Meng asked Lu Na to cheat on her exams, but Lu Na was found by an examiner when Lu Na was texting. Lu Na was therefore penalized and arranged for transfer by her family. Wang ZiQiao attributed Lu Na's transfer to A Meng and accused her of being a country bumpkin. A Meng's self-esteem hurt again and she stabbed Wang ZiQiao with a knife. A Meng gradually became aware of his mistake while serving his sentence in prison, and Wang ZiQiao eventually forgave A Meng, asking her to return to school, on the court's plea.
