Shuanghua Fei Fei- Wu Shuang Art Exhibition Opens at Macao Polytechnic Institute

The "Holy Flower Flying Dragonfly - Outstanding Alumni Wu Shuang Art Exhibition" held a grand opening ceremony on June 28 at the Macao Museum of Technology Mingde Building exhibition gallery. The exhibition was held as a celebration organized by the Polytechnic alumni association held this year at the graduation ceremony of the polytechnic school held on the same day. The alumni of the young artist Wu Shuang were invited to present their paintings created in Beijing this year, in addition to her productive exploration in recent years. In addition to affirming and rewarding, it is hoped that through this exhibition, the experiment and exploration of the original language of Chinese painting will be emphasized, providing an example of possible innovations in the expression of new artistic expression and development prospects in terms of expression of new ink and wash. At the same time, it also shows the results of the school’s teaching philosophy in integrating Chinese and Western cultures. This is the third solo exhibition of Wu Shuangji’s second exhibition in Nanjing. As she herself said: The flowery Macau is full of beauty, the alma mater's blend of art and humanities, and the teaching concepts and practices of tradition and modernity have given me nourishment in life. This exhibition is a bunch of flowers I dedicated to my alma mater!

Wu Shuang was born in a family of artists and grew up in Nanjing, the capital of six dynasties. The family's profound cultural heritage and rich artistic atmosphere have made her feel conspicuous. The painting was taught by Professor Ding Fang. Calligraphy benefited from Mr. Zhuang Tianming. At the same time, under the influence of his father Professor Wu Weishan, he often went to the museums of Europe, America, and other countries to observe and learn. She successively studied at Macao Polytechnic Institute and Beijing Language and Culture University. In 2011, she graduated from the calligraphy department of the Fine Arts Academy of Nanjing University of Arts. Under the tutelage of Jin Dan and Tong Li, she learned more about calligraphy theory and creation. She loves music, visits masters, and has special characteristics in vocal performances and piano performances. At the same time as her artistic practice, she paid particular attention to the broadening of the artistic vision and paid attention to the customs, customs, and artistic features of France, Italy, Greece, the United States, Russia, and South Korea, and provided nutrients and materials for her painting creation and experimentation.

In recent years, Wu Shuang has focused on the creation of Chinese painting and color ink series, expressing his emotions for beautiful things with colors. Most of the paintings are based on the splendid weather of natural flowers, and the inspiration for creation often comes from instant intuition and sentiment. Find the correspondence between the natural flowers, the imagery of calligraphy, and the color of impressionism. Good aesthetic cognition, broad artistic vision, and diligent enthusiasm for painting make her work unique in its artistic language: the traditional artistic conception interacts with the modern context to create a deep impression on the atmosphere, splendor, and excitement. . She likes the bright colors of the Impressionists and is more interested in the imagery of flowers of Chinese painters. She respects the creation of her predecessors, pays more attention to the feelings of real life, and interprets a real spiritual world in her own language. It is “Description of my heart, my own pursuit of truth, goodness, beauty, and the declaration of the soul world. The emotions are pinned on the love of flowers and plants to get happiness."
