The story is set in a new world thousands of years later - a nuclear holocaust has changed the world of posters and stills of the old "Sword of Shanara" we are familiar with, and the "Age of Man" is over, Only human civilization ruins. The elves became the masters of the earth, winning ethnic races and bringing peace to the Quartet. Humans and Elves, Trolls and Goblins coexist peacefully, but the magic of the world is running out. Much of the magic dissipates as Druid dies, and Allanon is the last member of the druid family. Since the last war ended, Ellery, the tree of wisdom, has kept the devil in "The Forbidding," making sure that they no longer return to the wrong place. But now that Ellery Tree began to die for some reason, it had to summon the sleeping Allanon to discuss the countermeasure. Whenever a leaf of the tree in Ellery withered, a devil was released and the situation was quite urgent. The only hope of protecting the four continents is to have the Brave of the Elven "God Select Warriors" take a special seed to the "Blood and Fire" land and then bring it back to make the Ellery tree smooth Rebirth
