As Catherine did not want to die old, she chose to commit suicide and Stefan saved her as she jumped upstairs. Stefan let Kai Selin cheer up. The vampire developed by Professor Wei Si was based on the blood of vampires, who took advantage of Damon's attention to turning him into his own test.
