2002, Beijing. Qing ShanXiaoBaiHe, a Japanese girl who took the DV film industry, inadvertently broke into a courtyard and met Chinese young Xiao Yi. Xiao Yi's grandfather Xiao Hansheng thus recalls the brutal story 60 years ago that was extremely unfamiliar to the present young people. On a stormy night in 1944, a Japanese cargo tank bottom was packed with captured Kuomintang prisoners of war, the Eighth Route Army, and some ordinary Chinese. Among the prisoners of war there is Zhou Shang Wen, head of the Kuomintang colonel with the highest rank, and Xiao Hansheng, commander of the Eighth Route Army, and Xia MingYuan, a former agent. The cargo ship entered Yokohama Port, Japan, and the prisoners of war found in amazement that they were already in Japan. In the boring tanker bound for Kuzujin Island, prisoners of war and labor crowded in their compartments. The weak and seriously wounded laborers and prisoners of war continue to die. The piled bodies and living people are crowded together. Without water and without food, they have left the fear of their motherland and shrouded everybody.
