AMC's "The Terror" is based on Dan Simmons's novel of the same name in 2007. It has been booked directly for 10 episodes. It is now scheduled to premiere on March 26 next year in the United States. The episode version was written by David Kajganich, and when the Royal Navy’s panic attacked the Arctic Circle’s “Northwest Passage” in 1847, their ship was attacked by some unknown predator, so the crew had to Survive and fight. The novel is based on the story of John Franklin's reality leading HMS Erebus and HMS Terror.
