Chuck went on to investigate his dad's suspicion and joined a Manhattan party gathering. He wants to meet here a man who knows Bart's finer details, a man willing to tell him the original truth. Serena and Steven decided to make the history of love past each other public so that they would be honest and open to each other in the future, but none of them were prepared to be uncritical. Dan decided to go elsewhere to post his own article, "The Spectator" newspaper at stake, and Nate had to make a difficult decision to save his business. In the meantime, Georgina urges Dan to choose a dating partner to enhance his public image. Oops, Dan was indeed attracted by a woman ... but exactly the opposite of what Georgina instructed!
