Lincoln was forced to become a hired killer because she could not pay her debts. Lincoln rushed to the designated location to find the target to be shot dead, Lincoln was eventually captured by the police. Ronnie told Michael that his alimony was borrowed by Lincoln. Michael began to believe Lincoln was framed, and proceed to investigate the matter. Michael learned that Lincoln was about to be sentenced to death at Fox River Prison while his company had exactly the structural blueprint for the prison and that the jailbreak began to take shape in Michael's mind.
