Xi LaSi is a mature middle-aged man and a lonely wanderer who meets Jie Yi on the way and helps Jie Yi to get out of his sleep and reach an agreement with Jie Yi to send it safely to Central America.

Michael Fassbender (born 2 April 1977) is a German-born Irish actor. Jie Yi is a fine porcelain-like European aristocratic guy, his 16-year-old euphoria, easy to believe people, to help people, full of love poetry. Luo Si, an exiled lover, broke into the western United States alone.

Kodi Smit-McPhee (born 13 June 1996) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his roles as The Boy in The Road, Owen in Let Me In, Norman Babcock in ParaNorman, Alexander in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Nightcrawler in the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse. He will also play Will Burrows, a lead role, in the upcoming film adaptation of the novel Tunnels.

Pai En is a humorous and crafty bounty hunter with tattoos on his face, cigars and wine, and a huge amount of money to track Xi LaSi and Jie Yi.

Paul Benjamin Mendelsohn (born 3 April 1969) is an Australian actor, who first rose to prominence in Australia for his role in The Year My Voice Broke (1987) and internationally for his role in the crime drama Animal Kingdom (2010).

Luo Si is a kind-hearted girl with poor eyesight and love with each other and with Jie Yi. However, her uncle strongly opposed and stopped Jie Yi.
