After zheng Ming shaodu and the monks practiced six pulse excalibur, Duan Yu followed the practice. He taught Duan Yu the six pulse excalibur and destroyed it. Jiu MoZhi captured zhengming, while Duan Yu used a six-pulse sword to save the life. Jiu MoZhi forced Duan Yu to write sword notation, but was rejected.
