On the boat by the island, Jin said that the smoke burned all day and Jack couldn't see it. They should go back. Sun is on one side of Sayid, on the other side and they start burning the second smoke. Sun said he knew that Sayid was lying and that the truth was that he was going to ambush others that night. Jin said he knew a lot of English and said Sun betrayed him, so he asked Sun to return to the ship. Juliet made the soup for Jack, and Ben calmly said that he had not made it. Colleen came down and said that the ship was found. Sawyer and Kate were taken to labor by Colleen's husband Danny and warned that if they touched each other, they would be shocked. When Kate said she wanted to see Jack to work, Sawyer was shocked and they were forced to work as coolies. The owner of Kate's clothes appeared. Alex asked Kate if she had seen Karl, and when she knew she had not, she left, saying they should not be locked up. Juliet gives Sawyer water. He pours the water out and kisses Kate. Danny is attacked with a gun and fights. Back in the cage, Sawyer points out that Juliet was the only one on the spot, and confesses with Kate that Juliet's name is James. The two are vaguely confiding in each other and discussing their plans. Others get on board, Sun alone shoots Colleen and escapes, Tom (S03E07) shoots, Sun enters the water and is saved by Jin who hears the gunfire in the ambush. The ship was taken away. Sayid says to listen to Jin's opinion in the future. Ben proves that he has contact with the outside world and asks Jack to cooperate with him. The reward is to let him go home. It was November 29, 2004, and they were on the island for 69 days.
Sun: when she was a child she broke something and lied about it because she was a maid, even though her father said she would be fired. Sun had an affair with Jae, who said her English was good enough to take her to the United States. Sun's father then came to the scene. The Sun father told Jin to kill Jae. Jin said he had no right to kill Jae and resigned. Sun father first called him "son". Jin just went to beat up Jae and warned the paralyzed Jae to never return. Jae jumped off the building when she came down. At the funeral, Sun asked her father not to tell Jin the truth.
